Empowering Art Workshops
Art therapy in group
An art therapy group exists out of a bunch of people that have something in common. They get together on regular base to create art together under the guidance of an art therapist. The goal is that the participants of this group empower themselves through art therapy activities and find support and friendship within the group.
The art activities are relaxing (no talent needed!) and offer you a creative outlet for self-expression.
It is our mission to let you embrace your most authentic self and to unlock your full potential.
How can art empower you?
Making art requires courage. For persons who haven't made art their whole lives, making art can become a revelation.
Making art lets you step outside of your comfort zone.
The art activities that we offer are from renowned therapeutic art sources.
Art therapy is scientifically researched and the effect on someones mindset can be life-changing.

Sitting in front of a blank canvas can be frightening. Every workshop will start with an easy warm-up art activity to make you feel comfortable.

Every workshop has a different goal, but the approach remains the same: offering you a creative outlet to express your emotions and your thoughts. in a creative way.

You don't need to be good at drawing. Drawing or painting is something that so naturally occurs, that everyone is able to take part at our workshops.
Many people for instance don't like draw in a realistic, figurative way (count me as one of those people). Then they draw something abstract, using lines, symbols and colours to express themselves. There are no rules in art.

The idea is to follow your intuition, let your hands guide you.
Once your artwork is finished, we discuss it together.
And for the ones, who like, can share it in the group. By having this additional conversation about your art work, you will gain new insights about yourself and your situation.
By doing the art activities and taking part at the discussion, you can feel more energised and empowered by having a new outlook.
